Reflections on TEC102

As we have recently taken our TEC102 practice test, I started to consider all the implications of this new system and these new tests. Based on the integral system considerations, the characterization of specific criteria affects a significant implementation of the evolution of specifications over a given time-period. As a resultant implication, any associated supporting element presents extremely interesting challenges to the preliminary qualification limit. When it comes down to test considerations, the fully integrated test program recognizes the importance of other systems and the necessity for the philosophy of commonality and standardization. Thus, any associated supporting element needs that urgent consideration be applied to the preliminary qualification limit. Similarly, a large portion of the interface communication coordination recognises the importance of other systems and the necessity for the anticipated next-generation equipment. I hope the following tests are as exhilarating as the previous ones.

How about that first test?

It is always a gamble when we have to reflect on a test we took. "How do you feel about your test?" Sheesh, how do I answer that? Should I say I feel great about having taken it? Is a test that makes me feel good about myself even worth taking? I could answer I feel awful about it. But, is a person who feels awful about a test even worth hiring? That is even more patent if that person is supposed to inflict the same procedure on his students. There must be a way around that first presumption of my having a feeling about it to begin with, too. If I were to say I felt nothing about the test, it could be mistaken for a display of disdain, which is far from being actual. The whole course reaches far beyond the mere attainment of grades, and the underlying message being sent to us is way deeper than what we may have felt about the test. And the outlook of having to reflect on every future test, as he who stares at his own navel, will lead us to the inevitable spotting of some lint here and there. So we might as well sing along a happy tune about how happy we are and how we know it, so we clap our hands because we really want to show it, since our evaluation is not based solely on test results: self-promotion is also an important assessment in managerial practices nowadays.

First reflexions on Tec101

It was truly interesting to conclude TEC101 and the first workshops. Some information is quite dazzling to say the least. If I were to convey all my feelings, this entry might come out way too lengthy. First of all, to learn all the basic components of a PC stirred up some fond memories of my school years, a few decades ago. It is, nevertheless, a crucial part of any course to be able to properly identify the tools you will be using. Besides, the jargon for all this informatic elements, though cryptic to the layman's ear, adds a mystique to the bundle of subjects we are bond to face in the courses to come. It was somewhat quite entertaining to have read the instructions on how to turn on my computer, after having had to turn on my computer in order to read about how to do it. The sections on how to find basic files and basic programs were a delight: now I can find them. Finally, learning how to turn off the computer sent me on a downward spyral of self-contemplation on the fugacity of the self, vaporously seeping through the fingers of the hands that dance on top of the keyboard, ripping the skin outwards and upwards, toward some higher ground where perspective seem to clear the mist and give sense to these hours. I'm now humming "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas.
